Another Victory for GOD’S GLORY

It was Friday morning and our school had a Mass of the Holy Spirit to start the semester. I attended the mass to offer it for the Mapua Makati DanceCom who was competing in the afternoon. They are the pride of their school. Undoubtedly, they are one of the school teams I know that have strong bond with each other sharing one passion and sharing their talents for the glory of ONE GOD. This is what makes this team strong and fast-growing. God serves as their center, their strength and their guide. For the 6 years that I have known and watch this team perform in the stage whether it is a concert or a competition, I can see how they are all inspired by the One up there with every move they make. And that day, a lot of their friends came to support and watch them perform their hearts out with no expectations of anything.

I was one of the crowd yelling for the team and it felt so much good that I was there to support my ate’s (girls of DanceCom) who performed in the Crissa Dance Synergy Competition. It was the first time that I saw them compete as an all-girl group and they were all astonishing. It was so breathtaking because even if they were all girls in the stage, they still dance like they were all men! That is how great they are and that is how I look up to them. I witnessed the unity of the whole team as I stayed with the other team members of the Mapua Makati DanceCom. I guess that is how Tay Dex and Nay Jen brought the team up. They are our mentors as well as our parents in Orange Dance Studio. They do not just teach us steps but they also guide us as performers, as students, and as children. DanceCom’s victory of being the top 1 in the eliminations of the said competition and being the Crissa Fashionably Fun group is also our victory and we offer it to God who made it all possible.
